What is Youpid?
Youpid is our unique take on matrimony, where we ask the people you trust the most, your friends and family, to help you find your life partner. Youpid blends powerful social networking paradigms and applies them to matrimony.
How did Youpid come about?
It all started with a marriage. Kinda. Watching a cousin go through the usual grind for finding a match, showed us how difficult it is to meet someone for a few minutes and try and make a call on that. We spend a good part of our lives with our friends online. We ask them where to go to eat, what movie to watch, which big screen TV to buy. But when it comes to marriage, its a lonely road. Not to say that you can get reviews when it comes to finding that special someone :). However, there is an aspect which has not been harnessed and that is your community. Somewhere we’ve lost that.
Youpid brings that back. It helps you form a community of friends and family online, from which you can choose a match, knowing that the perfect someone is just a few introductions away.

Where is Youpid now?
